Right now, it seems that r.g.c.c. is the place where chess computer people go to vent their feelings. I guess we need a place like that, or we will all go crazy [???]. A pity it has to be there, but it apparently needs to be somewhere. I guess. I really hate it when I get up in the morning, download the new bulletins on r.g.c.c., r.g.c.a, and r.g.c.m., am delighted to find fifty or more unread messages there, and then notice that most of them are marked as "filtered." [i.e. in blue on my computer.] Before I read any messages, I use control-Q to "mark as read" all those which I do not care to read. Typically, there are no more than 5 or 6 remaining for me to read. [I only display unread messages.] Often, I get rid of all but one or two! What a letdown! I do not know the history on the particular individual you are discussing, but his messages are "blue" on my screen and hence do not get read. But, sadly, he is not the only one! Really sad!!!! It is refreshing to come to CCC and see people genuinely interested in computer chess and talking about it in a friendly manner.
