My SEE doesn't take into account the fact that the moves can only be made in a certain order in these kind of positions. It lucked out here because black and white pieces are alternating and all rook moves come before the queen move. Anyway, here's one I had some problems with: [D]3n1RRR/1nP1Pn2/2n1n3/8/8/k7/8/K7 w - - 0 1 For c7d8q it should return (2 knights - 2 pawns), and for f8d8 it should return (5 knights - 2 rooks - 2 pawns). It's probably not that hard, but i had problems handling promotions. Koundinya
