That is correct in the fact that Kramnik should offer a draw but was incorrect
for Deep Fritz team to accept it because of the fact that Fritz could now play
against the isolated pawn for an advantage in the ending!

It was also wrong or incorrect play for Kramnik to exchange pieces off when that
benifits Fritz to do so!

Kramnik should have atleast tried to advance the isolated pawn to exchance it
and then if he can't make progress offer the draw! With the majority of major
pieces still on the board there is still fighting chances!
