I think Deep Junior will not take GM Kasparov seriously as an opponent. Deep Junior knows humans have not won a big money match against a top computer player since 1996. I really think it will be hard for Deep Junior to get up for this match knowing that GM Kasparov tends to choke when faced with such a strong player as itself. Deep Junior knows that GM Kasparov could not even defeat GM Kramnik in a single game of a sixteen move match. Deep Fritz was able to beat GM Kramnik twice in 8 games. Being the computer world champion Deep Junior thinks it is stronger then Deep Fritz. Deep Junior will have little motivation in the match and may take GM Kasparov still the best human play who ever lived a little too lightly and may lose the match for only this reason.
