Mchess8 (CD version) is still able to make wonders, if you try out a little with parameters, i guess this has to do with the SEARCH Mchess is using. it is NOT losing easily. try it out yourself if you have 2 pc's. IMO mchess 8 is still a very strong program and needs only a little tuning.
