You know, the code I cited was not intended to be a summary of Don Beal's paper. It was just an explanation of pessimistic view in qsearch to Tomar. I realized that he didn't understand my words about that (null-move). Therefore I explained by using code. You can find Don Beal's paper in Artificial Intelligence, Volume 43, Number 1: Donald F. Beal: A Generalised Quiescence Search Algorithm. I don't know if there is a digital version online. Alessandro
