Fritz5 came weak out of the opening in this tournament In 1 game(against Mchess) it did a draw without playing only because of the opening book with white. It had negative evaluation out of the opening against Tiger11.2,Rebel, and chessmaster5555 and did a draw. It came weak out of the opening against Junior5(in this case it did not understand the position and evaluated its position as better position). Fritz5 is not supposed to be best because Junior5 is not in the SSDF list but it is one of the best programs and I think it could be 2nd or 3rd if it had the same opening book that was used in the SSDF games.
