I think its a CPU problem ... Using chess programs works your cpu's very hard .. they start to generate more heat. Then the become unstable and crash causing your system to reboot. If you monitor the heat of your cpu's ... you will notice that it will rise while playing your chess software. Normally this are problems that overclocker have when trying to find the most stable frequency and voltage settings for your cpu's. If you don't notice any heat build up and you are getting reboots ... your cpu voltage in your bios settings my be too low ... this too will cause a cpu to become unstable. If it is heat there are a few things you may want to check .. make sure your case has good circulation, make sure your fan's rpm's are in spec and last but the most important ... make sure your cpu voltage is correct ... if your circulation and fan's are ok .. and you got the heat problem .. you may want to see if your system can handle a lower voltage and run stable. Good Luck
