Subject: The best Freeware/Shareware programs...Any rating lists?

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for establishing a rating list for the
best freeware/shareware chess programs out there.  I know Crafty is considered
to be strong, and Rebel Decade, but how about all the others (and there are many
others).  Could save some downloading time if you knew in advance that a program
was weaker than the cat next door.
