Subject: Info on Amd Athlon 2400+?

Does anyone have any strong opinions on the performance of the AMD Athlon 2400+
as opposed to the 2200+ and the Pentium 4 2.8 Gig in terms of playing strength
of Chess engines.

Deep-Fritz 7, Fritz 7 and Hiarcs 8 in particular.
Would waiting for the next upgrade (perhaps the Sledge Hammer or Hammer)be a
better suggestion?
