The current purpose seems to be a buyers guide to commercial chess software,
which doesn't set any limitation on the number of entries in any way as long as
they're commercially separable. Nor is it prone to presenting the free
alternatives. That's no problem in general, but makes for an alltogether
uninteresting list IMO.

Well, it is my opinion as well ;). A computer version of the FIDE list seems
more relevant.
