I wonder if the Extreme >Chess CD would also substitute for Fritz5? > >John Coffey To avoid having to insert the CD, Komputer Korner suggested at least 2 ways in r.g.c.c. : 1-Make a copy of the Fritz5.ini file under another name and when the program asks for a refill, overwrite the current .ini file with the current one. (if you made start up/default changes in between, they will be lost) 2-Make the Fritz5.ini file a READ ONLY file. But you will not be able to change anything in the default/start up settings. A third was would be to click on the cancel button when asked for the CD, but when in negatives for the days between refills, the options/functions start degradating. Serge Desmarais
