Controversy over FIDE doping check For the first time there will be rigorous doping controls at the Olympiad. This is been done in a futile attempt to make chess an Olympic disciple. The result is that a number of players have protested, vigorously. Some have even cancelled their participation, like top German players Artur Jussupov and Robert Hübner.
