Go up one level in this thread

The problem arose through this sequence:
1. I tried to respond, without quoting, to a message by Enrique with a title
similar to the following:
"First define what better means for human opponents"
or something vaguely similar to that. It was a discussion related to the "Whatr
makes a computer good against humans" thread. Interestingly, I can no longer
see that new thread by Enrique. Anyway, after trying a follow-up without
quoting, I then tried to follow-up with quoting. In both cases the edit control
which is normally seen below the word "Comments:" was nothing more than the text
of the original message without an edit control.

Perhaps the message was retracted?! Does CCC have a retract feature? I do know
that I was not hallucinating.
