CSTal benefits a lot from the Athlon CPU, compared to Intel P3. I used CSTal
2.03 among other programs, to see the performance increase after upgrading my
computer from P2/333 to Athlon XP 1900+ (= 1,6 GHz). It gained additionally ~40%
in relation to the clock rate.

To reach depth 10 (IIRC, in the staring position):

 P2-333 A1600
-----------------
164 sec. 24 sec.

Solve Quicktest pos. #10 (1.g5):

 P2-333 A1600
-----------------
118 sec. 18 sec.

I didn't compare many programs; another engine which benefit - but much less
-from Athlon compared to Intel P3 was The King 3.12d, sel.10 with ~10% above the
clock rate ratio.
