But a couple of general observations: (1) Any "formula" is likely only an approximation, or a simplified model, for something more complex. (2) The actual 100% accurate relationship maybe cannot be expressed by a formula? Maybe also multiple independent variables? (3) It's going to take a lot of actual testing to identify all of the significant relevant variables and to produce an accurate estimator. Bob D.
