1) buy a null modem cable with pins 1& 2 crossed (not sure which exact pins
these are but that does not matter as long as u remember to get the cable with
pins crossed; make sure it is the 9 pin cable(should fit into your serial
port)and not the 25 pin cable

2) this is available in any elctronic/ hardware/comp sparepearts shop for about
£6.00

3plug it into the serial ports of the 2 comps.

4) load the chessbase programmes on each of your comp.

5) make sure the opening books are copied to hdd; tbs are copied to hdd and the
correct path entered.load the engine with ponder on

6)in fritz 7 on both comps go to -tools-connect hardware -auto232 and select com
1 or com2 trial and error

7)go to file -new-2 comp match fill in the details click master on only on and
start
