when i analyse a game with fritz in chessbase, fritz seems to learn during the analysis. for example, if i move into a forced variation, and it sees that one side is winning, then back up again to the initial position, it will "remember" that the move going into the forced variation is winning. i.e. before embarking on that variation it was giving a different evaluation of that line. so obviously it's learning something in some way. does somebody know how this is done? is it just storing the position it finished searching in the hashtable? aloha martin
