In the Nalimov EGTB's the filnames are such like:

krpkrnbw.emd
krpkrnbb.emd

for a king, rook, and pawn vs. a king and rook.

My question is what does the "nbb" and "nbw" stand for?

I think that the "b" and "w" stands for Black and White respectivly, but what
about the "n" and the "b"? Should different letters be used since it could be
confused with standing for a bishop and a knight?
