It sounds like the program might be thinking that you want to be importing the
PGN file into the reference book, rather than a new book. If you want to create
a new book, then CLOSE the opening book editor and THEN select "Opening Book ->
Import from PGN file". This should create a new book based on the moves in the
PGN file with the parameters that you chose.
