With a lot of work, because the protocol is nuts. I'd like for some of us
"freeware" types to design an auto232 protocol that is sane, easy to implement,
and easy for users to make it work. And dump "auto232" once and for all as
something that has outlived its usefulness. I know, there's a lot of programs
that support it. But there are *better* ways. IE besides a serial link, what
about a network link? What about reasonable messages rather than having to
count tabs, and so forth. What about *real* chess that allows e8=N, rather than
always promoting to a queen, which will definitely lose/draw some won games.
