I think the grey marble set is clear and very playable.
In fact I already thought on the position you have on a real board.
the vieuw you get in real life is a 45 degree triangle in a 45degree angel.
When I told this ad the Club I teach chess they told me that this was already
used in an Interpolis tournament.
