THE SSDF RATING LIST
The latest rating list, published on October 28, 2002, is the result of
evaluating a total of 88,897 games (!) over the course of the years. Typically a
new program will play about five hundred games before the results are published.
And it plays against a wide variety of top competitors. This makes for far
better statistics than in official world campionships where only nine games are
played and many top programs may not participate.
Here are a few individual results by Deep Fritz 7.0 running on a single
processor Athlon 1200 MHz with 256 MB of memory against other programs.
