Subject: Windows Prof 2000 as opposed to Windows XP prof. or XP Home ?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to whether Windows Professional 2000 or
Windows XP Professional or XP Home should be used for Chessbase programs such as
Fritz 7?
All opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I am just about to purchase a Compaq D 315s with the AMD Athlon 2600+ and I need
to decide which operating system to select for my order.
