However, I found a workaround: I import the pgn into my Rebel 8 and, voila, it spits out not only the overall standings but all kinds of stats! Neat. BTW, I plan to keep the scores in the stat file (labelled Freeware.dat) and update them regularly. Unfortunately, I'll do that only for blitz and rapid games (up to 1 hour per game). Longer time controls are simply not very handy, what with the wife, and cats and the whirring noise made by the fan, etc. Joking aside, I believe that Winboard modularity will allow us to keep track of the new free programs and breath down the necks of commercial guys. Some of them will eventually muster up the courage to try their progs out in the democratic forum of Winboard. Such testing is also lots of fun for the tester! Big Mac in hand, glued to the monitor screen, rooting for the favourite prog...
