I'm sure there are programs that will beat it 100%. May even chess Genius 1, on your hardware. If you do that, then maybe you should also play it against boris diplomat, or something even weaker than that, then the Palm will also have a chance of gaining back some points by winning about 100%. In short, I think the ELO system can be seriously manipulated, esp. with comp. comp. games. I also still have a bit of a "chip on my shoulder" about those who keep saying "play more games"!
