I tried this: ChessBase GUI engine match between Chessbase engine and Winboard engine (mine) with winboard adapter Permanent brain=OFF The winboard engine.init file contain [Support] AnalyzeMode = False PonderMode = False CastleAndEP = False This is what ChessBase GUI send to a winboard engine for each move : new time 27900 hard easy force e2e4 b8c6 g1f3 e7e5 f1b5 a7a6 b5a4 f8c5 c2c3 d8f6 d2d3 b7b5 post white go Why Chessbase send all the moves from the beginning ? I try the same thing with ERT (Lokasoft) and i get: time 24025 otim 29937 c2c3 Very Simple !
