I bet we are going to hear more and more about ZChess.

Frank Zibi seems to be able to include good (I mean wise) positional knowledge
in his programs. That's maybe why ZChess is better at longer time controls.

In 1996, at the french championship, I have seen one of Franck's programs,
running on a HP calculator (!) drawing against a fast tactical program running
on a Pentium 75!!! If I remember correctly, the HP was running at 2 MHz. It was
programmed in HP's assembly.

Franck was not competing in the championship. In fact the game was initially
meant as a joke. It turned out to be not that funny for the Pentium owner!

Franck Zibi and his program ZChess will be competing in the french championship
on September 25th, 26th and 27th.

We will post here on CCC the results of this championship.
