I think so, too.

In 8 10ยด+4" matches (30 games each) on Athlon 1700+, ponder off, no TBs, 60 MB
Hash against
Nimzo 8,
Fritz 7.0.0.8,
Hiarcs 8,
Tiger 14,
Gambit 2,
Ruffian 1.0.1,
Shredder6  and
Junior 7 (1 draw and 7 wins)

Shredder 7 scored exactly 88 Elo-points above the average rating of his
opponents.

In short blitz games (200 ones) Shredder 7 seems to be as strong as Deep Fritz 7
and Tiger 14.
