There really isn't anything wrong with temporarily altering the game. And,
considering the interface, it would be difficult to display imaginary lines in
the game while leaving the moves of the game unaltered. How would you navigate
through these imaginary lines without changing the move list itself?

In other words, if you really don't mind altering the move list by adding these
interesting lines, then you can do this already, and just go back to the main
line whenever you like.

No doubt, but are you willing to wait 8 hours for it? Truly LENGTHLY analysis
can be accomplished by either the Mentor Lines window or the Game Analysis
feature. Advice is intended to be an "in-game" feature.

Well, probably. But they are fairly difficult to do accurately and
programmatically. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them here, or
just e-mail them to chessmaster@ubisoft.com.

You're very welcome. We always try to keep as much as possible from previous
versions, but sometimes we remove things that just do not compare well with the
new features. Usually, these are visual things such as older boards and pieces,
or older features such as the original "Rate My Play" (which was replaced by
Pandolfini's Rating Exam) or the "Custom Board" (which was replaced by the
True3D boards).

Nope, sorry. Maybe in an upcoming patch, but not likely....
