I've experienced similar funny messages with several CB engines, from Junior 6 on. Often, after clicking on "ckeck again", the thing changes its mind and thanks me. Sometimes it insists: "probably not an original CD". I have to add that I use a DVD reader that sometimes has some difficulty reading- so I can't 100% sure it is a Chessbase bug after all. Maybe Pioneer, not Chessbase, is the culprit... Telmo
