Subject: For Owners Of The DGT Board, Who Must Use A USB Serial Converter

Take heed, if you own or plan to own a DGT Board, and _must_ use a USB Serial
Converter, _don't_ use the 1.04 DGT Driver, it doesn't work and may corrupt your
USB Drivers!

I had to formatt my computer, to fix the software damage after using the 1.04
DGT Driver!

Once I reinstalled everything, ChessBase Programs, Fritz 6, Junior 7, Fritz 7,
Shredder 6 and Shredder 6 Classic, and HIARCS 8, I connected using the DGT 1.03
Driver.

Everything works fine now, including my Rebel ver. of CT 14/GT 2.0 and Gandalf
5.1 all in ChessPartner 5.1.

NEVER connect with DGT 1.04 Device Driver, as this WILL cause serious software
communication conflicts and possible damage to the USB Drivers between the
Computer, USB Serial Converter and DGT Board!

ALWAYS use the 1.03 Device Driver!

This only applies when using a USB connection between board and machine.

ChessBase and DGT Projects, please take note! This issue MUST be resolved!

Regards,
 Terry McCracken
