Well at least you can play several games of chess on a Palm before the batteries
go dry.  Not so with a PocketPC.   Of course, you can always have your PocketPC
plugged into the wall but that defeats the whole purpose of a portable anyway.

As for Palm ChessMaster, I haven't seen it in person but all indications is that
this product is not ready for prime time.   Very, very, buggy.  Absolutely will
not run on several Palm models.

For the Palm, stick with ChessGenius or Chess Tiger.   (My favorite being
Tiger.)   Either Genius or Tiger is top-notch with Tiger providing a lot more
functionality in terms of screen settings and strength level control.
