Not so with a PocketPC. Of course, you can always have your PocketPC plugged into the wall but that defeats the whole purpose of a portable anyway. As for Palm ChessMaster, I haven't seen it in person but all indications is that this product is not ready for prime time. Very, very, buggy. Absolutely will not run on several Palm models. For the Palm, stick with ChessGenius or Chess Tiger. (My favorite being Tiger.)
