With a time control of 60/10... -------- Saturday -------- Round 1: 8AM Round 2: ASAP after round 1 is over (Probably around 12:00 or 12:30PM after round 2) Lunch break: 12:00 or 12:30PM Round 3: 1:00 or 1:30PM (depending on what time round 2 ended and how long we allow for a lunch break) Round 4: 4PM Round 5: 6 or 6:30 PM And your day would be over by 8 or 9 in the evening. That makes for a long day though. Sunday would be basically the same, maybe start an hour later or something. It's doable, but with the time increment it could go longer and make for a really long day for some. I think we should also consider international schedules. For example, playing 12 or 13+ hours one day might be ok if it means I get up at 8AM and we finish around 9PM, but if I lived in another country and it started at 8PM and went to 9AM the next day, and I have to be at work at 8AM on Monday, that's not going to work for me, so maybe a two weekend tournament is better. Then again, it means that some people will have to be up half the night for two weekends instead of one. Just something to think about. Russell
