Well, if we really want to not pussy foot around this, let's get it *all* out in the open. I think if I had to reword your post so that it actually says what it means, my best effort would be, "Fritz 5 is a fine program, but it did poorly in Thorsten's tournament, and Thorsten is known to have a thing about Fritz, so I think Thorsten is cheating." This is pretty clearly what you mean, Mark, and others are supporting you by writing similarly indirect statements. As of this point we have Moritz suggesting that Thorsten is influencing the results somehow, and we have Enrique suggesting that Thorsten is playing several games per round and keeping the ones that suit him, although neither of these accusations was of the form, "I think Thorsten did X". I can imagine a world where someone would actually directly influence game outcomes. But I don't have any evidence for this, I think it makes not much more sense to believe that this is what is happening here as it does to believe that the ChessBase autoplayer cheats. As an aside, I don't think Thorsten is devious enough to invent a whole tournament. I have known him casually for several years, and I am unsurprised to see him in the role of the "minority of one", but I don't think he would be so unprincipled as to create the result that suits him. Like it or not, Thorsten is on-topic and you guys are attacking him personally. I think that there is room for a few suspicious comments here, but I think that quota has been mostly filled, so rather than engaging in a prolonged war, perhaps you guys could run your own tournament.
