I think that we do not know what frans did in the last months.

It is possible that he used most of the time for writing Fritz8 with a better
data structure to do the same thing faster so Fritz8 is going to be 50% faster
than Fritz7 and 50% speed advantage is a a significant improvement.

It is possible that he did not finish the job 2 months ago but he was close to
finish it.

I also do not think that it is impossible to make an engine significantly
stronger in 2-3 months.
You only need to discover some new good idea.

I think that it may be better if we wait and not come to conclusions too early.
I simply do not know and have to wait like everybody to see if Fritz8 is
significantly stronger.
