Bruce, I would invite you and anyone else that would care to to please go
through my thought process with me on a line by line basis with me and agree or
disagree with it. My intention is not to deal in any way with implications
against Thorsten but to just deal with the facts and if possible to come up with
cause behind the facts. I think you might more clearly understand my intentions
by doing this.

1. Does Fritz rank its openings by how well it believes they are? Yes or No?

2. Does it play higher ranked moves over lower ranked ones? Yes or No?

3. Will Fritz continually play lower ranked moves over higher ranked moves? Yes
or No? (What are the odds that low ranked moves would be chosen over higher
ranked ones over and over again...the odds become increasing high against it.)

4. Where the moves and openings played in Thorsten's tournement in line with the
above? Yes or No?

If you answered yes to 1 through 3 and no to 4 then your thoughts followed mine.
This indicates some kind of problem. These are the facts of the situation and
now comes the supposition. What was the cause for the problem? My intention is
not to accuse anyone of anything but to propose all possible causes that I can
come up with. If anyone can come up with any others, great, let's examine those
too. Now it may be that I suspect one of these causes over another and you may
know what that is, but that is not an attack. That comes because you have come
to know me and to know Thorsten and what our history is. This is something that
is not possible to be helped. Now if you can fault any of my thought process
above then lets talk about that, or if you can come up with any other causes we
can talk about that too. As for the above four questions the answers can be
found by investigating how Fritz's book works and examining the games from
Thorsten's tournament which is something that I have done thoroughly and I would
suggest that anyone else do as well before they critisize what I have said.

>>The obvious implication of what you said, and the conclusion that you draw
>>readers toward, is that he overruled the book.
