What is the contradiction there?

(1) the person that starts the problem is the one that needs attention.  The
responders
might need a comment but initiation is the key, IMHO.

(2) "I don't care..." was directed at his confused maze of references to threads
as though
Skinner beat up on him _first_.  But this didn't happen and the comments you
quoted above
make that quite clear.
