Do I have to do another check test for the opponent? > >Andreas Hi Guetti :) Well, when you use the short algebraic notation to print out moves, (eg Nxe5) you probably have to reply the moves on a separate copy of the board anyway. Otherwise you also don't know whether it should be 'Nfxe5' (because a 2nd knight could also capture on e5) or not. And if you replay the moves on a separate copy of the board, you can do the checktest there too. Sargon
