Hi Thorsten, Just concerning a few points you write (rest of both of us snipped): I had written about missing autoplayers: >>But now: no difficulties at all? >>Did you get used to manual playing and meanwhile find joy in it again? :-) And you answered: >Yes - when i play manually games (not with the hidden/secret autoplayer), fritz >plays weak and loses (like in paris). I like and I enjoy this much.:-)) Why? If Fritz5 really played weaker in manual games, what do you enjoy so much then? I always hope to see programs at their best. *Any* program. So what in heaven do you enjoy??? I said about Ed: >>He said he wants the SSDF not to accept secret autoplayers and expressed clearly >>that this would be no measure aiming at Chessbase. And you answered: >Right. I see it different. Ed has to speak in another language. I don't have to >be diplomatic. And i will not be diplomatic. Nobody can stop me from saying my >opinion. Do you think Ed is not capable or willing to say *his* opinion speaking out clearly what *he* means?? I must admit I have a higher opinion of Ed's ability to say *exactly* what he means in public. And I guess he has any right to speak for himself and to be protected from questionable interpretations of his words or decisions, to which he does not agree. I wrote: >>Ed also never said that Moritz or Enrique's Fritz autoplayer games were reasons >>for his decisions. I just read his correction of your false claim. You answered >I can claim whatever i want dirk. This is a free world. Yes, I'm glad this is a free world with a bit more than just *your* rights. You simply have to respect the rights and claims of others as well. Freedom only makes sense in connection with trying to do justice to others and to respect their justified claims, too. No matter if it's Ed, Chessbase, the SSDF people or whoever... You wrote: >I hope you can do the same. But i am not sure. You are a priest :-) Could you please explain what you want to say to me or to others by this sentence in the context of our computer chess discussion? Regards from Dirk
