Do people typically enable pondering on portable devices? If people typically disable pondering and if the Pocket PC processer is faster than the typical Palm processor, then it might not be fair to turn on infinite mode. Let's say that the Pocket PC lasted half as long, but searched twice as many positions on a charge - what would that mean to end users? Maybe you would want to see how many self play G/30 games could be done on a charge at a certain estimated SSDF ELO level. Any better ideas? Regards, Keith
