Is it required that the engine kibitz information in the tournament? The rules only state (so far) that the engine must use an automatic interface, but not that it should kibitz information. The reason I'm asking this is because I think it is assumed that kibitzing information is required, but the rules do not state that. For example, Volker said that Fritz can't play because the interface he used can't kibitz information, but the rules only state that the interface should be automatic, and the interface is, so he assumed that kibitzing information is a requirement (as far as I can tell). So, is kibitzing information a requirement? And if so, what information is required? I don't want to show up to play the first game of the tournament and then have someone complain because I'm not kibitzing anything, or not the right information. Russell
