Not "simple user" error. But simple "user error". An assumption that was flawed, followed by an accusation that was completely wrong, followed by a suggested punishment for something that never happened at all. Would have been far better to say "Why can't I find a post I wrote yesterday?" rather than what was actually posted. IMHO of course. To me, the term "simple user error" or "simply a user error" or any such is just a direct way of saying that the user made an error that was very simple, rather than one that was very complicated. IE a simple "button click" would have fixed his "missing post" problem. And that "filter messages" button set is the first thing you should see when you log in, indicating that the messages can be selected from several different expiration limits...
