I hope, that this will be a misscalculation. Taking away features is not the right way. I think not to support the pc-boards is even worse. When you work the whole day at a pc at your office, as I do, you just don't want to see a monitorscreen anymore. I will prefer other programs which will support the existing pc-boards. Don't forget that Rebel 9 was compatible to the chess232-board, Tasc Smartboard (with some tricks) and the mephisto-pc-board. There is the new DGT-board published wich works with Fritz 5. So there is a market for this board. I think not to support the pc-board users will low the sellingresult to. In my opinion the "war" against the SSDF and against ChessBase really childish. The only thing what will happen is, that Rebel lose its costumers:-(( Best greetings, Hannu Wegner
