He has a super-crude chess engine for download at his site. But it is like a
cardboard cut-out compared to crafty. You will have to know C to understand
crafty, and if you are going to do that, then you might as well write it in C.

I know that an IBasic engine will be slow. But it is a good basic, as basics
go...
