Thank you for your reply.
The total without tax and shipping, which includes the monitor and printer came
to $1913.00.
Of course I included a DVD writer and an additional 768 MB of DDR RAM.
Without the printer and monitor the total comes to $1610.00
If I knocked down the DDR RAM to 256 MB it would come to $1360.00 and if I took
Windows XP Home rather than Windows XP Professional, it would be $1260.00.

If I just ordered the bare bones Compaq D315 (Athlon 2000+)system it would have
come to $549.00 and $799.00 with the Athlon 2600+.
In the meantime some of the items are back-ordered, so I am anxiosly waiting and
still using my Hewlett Packard 8370 Pentium II 350 MHz 384 SDRAM.
