Hi, no I don't want to. Chess is war game and cannot give ideas or info to the competitors. Also, what is a weakness? There are several type of weaknesses: 1. Evident 2. Relative 3. Indirect What is an indirect weakness? There are also more than one reply, but one example is: "eccessive use of a strenght!" Without "unhiding" enything I give you one example taken from history. Hannibal has been one of the best Commander of the Roma's hystory. The only one that defeated Rome's army several times. After studing Rome's army with his father he found a way to defeat them. By using elephants like tanks and with cavalery superiority we was able to beat the romans. Cornelio Scipione, sun of Scipione who was the first console to be defeated by Hannibal found the weakness of Rome's army shown by Hannibal. He modified the army leaving only one heavvy armed line every 2 light armed lines, to allow the light armored soldiers to move quickly and let the elephant pass near by and attack them on side. Also he made agreements with the allied cavalery tribe helping Hannibal to switch mainly side. By doing this he was able to defeat Hannibal at Zama. So, this means that a good working system (the heavy armored roman troops) has, like everything advantages and disadvatages, so if your opponent can find those you have soon or later problems! This makes the first and most important chess rule to apply: 1. NEVER underestimate ANYBODY! How do I use such a rule? One small example: Are we the strongest? Is everything we play winning? Good, if yes is time to WORRY about it! Better think what the competition can do to put us in trouble and start to work on that NOW! Ciao Sandro
