The reason that I did not ask to participate is that any tournament demands some
attention and preparation from the author of the engine and the author of the
opening book.

I do not have this time, and I don't think Jeroen has it either, so I prefer not
to participate.

I do not say that there is no competition. I know that in a tournament many
things can happen and that many good programs out there are potentially
dangerous.

That is exactly why serious preparation is needed!
