I really find the whole kibitzing of programs, or the fact they _need_ to be automated is going to leave out most of the competition. This of course includes all ChessBase products as well as some amateurs as well. Can this not be changed? Obviously you can tell when a program is automated by how fast it can make the opening moves and such. The Ebbi adapter for Chessbase works well. I say let the programs that need to use it enter. Those that kibitz fine.. if they don't that is fine as well. To me that rule is rediculous, and is only going to kill this fine tournament. Can't we change the rules to allow automated programs to participate even if they don't "kibitz"?
