Who wants to guarantee that the announced participant also played with the announced program version? Another proposal (for the future): Why not a MD5-Check. (Message Digest 5 from R.Rivest http://rfc.sunsite.dk/rfc/rfc1321.html). The participants sends their executable (not the source code) and the referee will generate the correspond MD5-Code. The program.exe must be executable! Before a game starts: All registered players send automatically either the MD5-code or after an invitation by the referee. This code will be compared by the referee. The code of every participant will be downloadable. Volker
